Congressman Mike Rogers made the following statement today after cosponsoring the Life at Conception Act of 2019.  This bill declares that life begins at conception, giving legal protection to the unborn child from the very start.

                “As we approach the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, I am always reminded of how precious life is.  As the father of three beautiful children, I never take for granted the gift of life and I will always stand up for the rights of the unborn.  Those unborn babies can’t speak for themselves, but I will be their voice here in Congress,” Rogers said.

                Rogers serves as Ranking Member of the House Committee on Homeland Security.
