Rogers on House Passage of the Championing Healthy Kids Act
Washington, DC,
November 3, 2017
Congressman Mike Rogers made the following statement today after the House of Representatives passed H.R. 3922, the Championing Healthy Kids Act. This legislation provides a five-year extension of the state Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and helps fund other important health programs. “I am pleased this fiscally-responsible legislation passed the House today with my support. CHIP provides children in lower-income families with health care coverage. This bill will help fund this critical program for our children across East Alabama and the country.” -###- |
