Congressman Mike Rogers made the following statement today after a Federal court’s ruling this week against the Obama Administration’s plan to defer deportation and grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants currently in the U.S.

“President Obama has no respect for the law, and his amnesty plan is just another blatant example of how he tries to circumvent the Constitution and Congress to get what he wants. I am pleased the court ruled against the Obama Administration’s plan and will continue to fight to protect our Constitution and keep the balance of power for the Executive branch in check.”
