Congressman Mike Rogers made the following remarks today in advance of Monday’s national day of remembrance recognizing the life and legacy of the late Civil Rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Dr. King had a dream so big that it would go on to inspire Americans today as much as it did back in 1963 when he first gave his ‘I Have a Dream’ speech. His vision of equality for all is a vision America still strives for. Let us all honor and remember Dr. King today and let the life he led be an example for us to follow,” Rogers said.
