Rep. Rogers Invites Local High Schoolers to Participate in 2025 Congressional Art Competition

Winning Art Piece Will be Displayed in U.S. Capitol Building

OXFORD, AL – U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (AL-03), today announced his office will be accepting entries from high school students in Alabama’s 3rd Congressional District for the annual Congressional Art Competition. Each year, this nationwide competition offers local high schoolers the opportunity to showcase their talent and have their artwork displayed in the Capitol Building for one year. This year’s theme for the artwork is “ What My County Means to Me.” Artwork can be submitted between April 1st and April 3rd. Additional guidelines can be found here.

“I’m proud to offer students from Alabama’s Third District the opportunity to compete in the annual Congressional Art Competition this Spring,” said Rep. Rogers. “Each year, I am impressed by the tremendous talent exhibited by our local students. Visitors from around the world will get to see the winning piece hanging in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
