WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (AL-03), to Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, released a statement in support of Executive Actions by President Donald Trump to secure our southern border. 

“Border security is national security. The actions taken by President Trump are crucial to help stem the tide of illegal immigrants, lethal drugs, criminals, and terrorists crossing our southern border. Enhanced support from the Department of Defense will help ensure law enforcement agencies can secure our border. 
 
“I look forward to working with the President and my colleagues to enact a reconciliation bill that will provide a permanent solution to our border security needs.”
