Congressman Mike Rogers made the following statement today in honor of our service men and women as we will remember them on Memorial Day, May 30, 2011.

“Memorial Day is a day we reflect on the memories of those brave men and women in uniform who selflessly gave their lives so we could enjoy our freedoms.  These service men and women deserve our utmost respect for their dedication to our great country.

"As a nation at war in three theaters, we should remember those who have fallen, but also keep those still serving in the Armed Forces in our hearts and thoughts every day.  Those men and women and their families should remain in our prayers as they continue to fight for our freedoms.  God Bless the Troops.”
