WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (AL-03), today released the following statement in support of the Washington, DC March for Life:

“It has never been more important to support the lives of the unborn,” said Rep. Rogers. “I continue to celebrate the historic Dobbs decision, and recognize there is still work to be done. In the spirit of that continued fight, Alabamians have gathered on the National Mall in the yearly March for Life on the anniversary of the disastrous Roe v. Wade decision. This shows how important the preservation of these innocent lives is to our state. I made a commitment when I came to Congress that I would never give up on unborn lives, and I am proud to continue to be a voice for the voiceless.”

This statement follows Rep. Rogers earning an “A+” rating from SBA Prolife for the first session of the 118^th Congress. Rep. Rogers cosponsored the following pro-life legislation in the previous year:

• H.R.7 - No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2023 

• H.R.26 - Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act

• H.R.427 - SAVE Moms and Babies Act of 2023

• H.R.431 – Life at Conception Act

• H.R.4672 - To amend title 40, United States Code, to prohibit the Administrator of General Services from constructing or acquiring public buildings or entering leases based on the legality or availability of abortion, and for other purposes.
