Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL) released the following statement on reports that the FBI conducted a raid on President Trump’s residence.

“The Democrats’ political weaponization of the FBI and Department of Justice should deeply concern all Americans. Conducting an FBI raid on the residence of a former President three months before an election is a clear abuse of power and a threat to our democracy. The left has gone to unimaginable lows to attack President Trump – from fake stories, to sham impeachments, to an illegitimate witch hunt committee. Now, the Biden administration has weaponized law enforcement against a political opponent.

“Congress will investigate and those within the Biden administration, who orchestrated this political hit, will be held accountable.”
