Rogers: Delusional Democrats in Disarray

(WASHINGTON, DC)—Congressman Mike Rogers made the following statement today ahead of the possible vote on Congressman Al Green’s (D-TX) articles of impeachment against President Trump.  This comes on the heels of yesterday’s dramatic show by House Democrats.  They not only passed a vote condemning President Trump’s tweets from the 14th of July, but allowed Speaker Nancy Pelosi to break the rules of the Chamber.

“The House Democrats are in total disarray and yesterday’s events on the House Floor were an embarrassment.  Today’s expected vote to begin impeachment proceedings against President Trump is completely baseless and ridiculous.  Democrats are still delusional and in denial about the 2016 election. They are so blinded by their hate for President Trump, that they would rather make cheap political points with their radical Socialist base than do their jobs.  I am disgusted by it.  I strongly stand with President Trump and his America First agenda,” Rogers said.

Rogers will vote against the resolution later today when it is expected to come to the House Floor for a vote.

Rogers serves as Ranking Member of the House Committee on Homeland Security and is a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee.
